A few months ago now, we purchased our RV. We made a video of our first night because we knew from the beginning we wanted to Vlog about our experiences. Here is that first video:
We have more videos up which I will share more about in the coming weeks. Here is the link to our YouTube Channel if you would like to subscribe and follow along on our adventures. We are learning quickly how to adjust to life in the RV. And the adventures are already piling up!
I am doing audiobook narration in the RV with the help of some portable sound proofing. For the most part it works great. Most of the campgrounds we tend to stay at are very quiet and the loudest thing I have to listen for while editing is crickets or the occasional yapping dog. I have edited many a chapter pool or lakeside while the girls swim or fish. All in all I am happy with how things have started off. One thing I have already learned is that approximately 200 miles per day is a good pace for us when traveling. It translates to about 4 hours of driving time with stops in between to stretch our legs or see something cool or just to eat without trying to juggle the steering wheel too! Our pace was by necessity faster than that to start. We had made promises to be certain places by certain dates. But now, our schedule is much more our own. And therefore, so is our pace.
The third audiobook I recorded is actually part of a series. It is a historical romance with some adult spanking scenes. You have been warned! I understand if it is not everyone’s cup of tea, but I enjoyed working on the project and the author keeps the story light, entertaining and moving along. So if you want to veg out with a romance, like some of us do, give Angelica’s Rescuer a listen!
